Christmas Eve - Free “Gospel of Grace” Quilt Block Pattern

Merry Christmas Eve friends! It’s so hard to believe that it’s almost the end of another year…2023 went by so quickly!

Christmas Eve might just be my favorite day of the year, maybe even over Christmas Day! Why? Because of where my heart goes on Christmas Eve. My heart goes back to all the previous Christmases that I’ve been blessed to live and all of those many, many sweet memories. But more importantly, my heart goes back a little over 2,000 years to Bethlehem. I think of how the whole world changed that day…could I even begin to wrap my mind around this miracle? This baby in the manger wouldn’t stay a baby…no…he would grow up living the perfect life that I could not live. Those tiny shoulders would grow up and one day bear the weight of all my sin, all my burdens, all my sorrow, and save me on a cross. Those tiny hands would grow up and one day bear the nails. That tiny body would grow up and one day be placed into a tomb and those tiny legs would grow up and one day walk out of that tomb, rising again three days later, conquering death forever! Oh the joy that floods my soul! Oh the love that God has for us! Joy to the world! The Lord is come! May this Christmas find you with a light and happy heart full of the good news of great joy! The good news that Jesus came for us; He was born, He died, He rose again, and someday He will come back!  “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
